Albertsons Companies seeks a Meat Department Manager to lead daily Meat Department operations, drive service, quality, and profitability in a fast-paced retail setting. You will supervise production activities, merchandising, inventory, and safety compliance while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

We value strong leadership, discipline, and a focus on continuous improvement. Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Prior meat department leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Experience managing inventory, shrink, and ordering.
• Ability to lead and develop a team, schedule and coach staff.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily Meat Department operations to meet service, quality, and financial goals.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused environment and respond to inquiries and special orders.
• Plan and coordinate daily production activities including prep, packaging, stocking, and merchandising.
• Ensure displays are stocked, rotated, labeled, and maintained to company standards.
• Implement promotional and seasonal programs as scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature, and regulatory requirements.
• Review production results and adjust activities to support yield and profitability goals.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, reclamation, and departmental expenses.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas including prep rooms, coolers, freezers, display cases, and equipment.
• Schedule, train, coach, and oversee associates to ensure coverage and performance expectations.
• Complete and maintain required documentation including logs, reports, and audits.
