You will supervise production, inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and training of associates, while upholding sanitation standards and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Meat Department or similar retail food operation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Ability to plan, organize, and supervise production and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Meat Department operations to meet service, quality, and financial expectations
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused environment and respond to customer inquiries and special orders
• Plan and coordinate daily production activities including preparation, packaging, stocking, and merchandising
• Ensure displays are stocked, rotated, labeled, and maintained to company standards
• Implement promotional and seasonal programs as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature, and regulatory requirements
• Review production results and adjust activities to support yield and profitability goals
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, reclamation, and departmental expenses
• Maintain clean, safe work areas including preparation rooms, coolers, freezers, display cases, and equipment
• Schedule, train, coach, and oversee associates to ensure coverage and performance expectations
• Complete and maintain required documentation including logs, reports, and audits
