Qualifications

• Experience managing a meat department or similar retail team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control.

• Proven leadership with coaching and training of staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Meat Department operations meeting service, quality, and financial goals.
• Maintain customer-focused environment and respond to inquiries and special orders.
• Plan production activities including preparation, packaging, stocking, and merchandising.
• Ensure displays are stocked, rotated, labeled, and maintained to standards.
• Schedule, train, and coach associates to meet coverage and performance targets.
• Manage ordering, inventory, shrink, and departmental expenses; maintain logs and audits.
