Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking a full-time Assistant Meat Manager to lead our Meat Department with excellence. You will supervise department associates, provide training, and showcase mastery of roasting and grilling techniques.

Responsibilities include maintaining fresh, well-displayed meat cases, enforcing food safety, forecasting and ordering inventory, and collaborating with store management to drive sales and promotions. A passion for food and strong leadership are required.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of Journeyman Meat or Service Counter Journeyman experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation.
• Passion for food and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to department associates, with a focus on training and development to ensure a high-performing team.
• Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for our quality products, stocking and maintaining meat cases to uphold our standards of excellence.
• Uphold freshness and visual appeal while adhering to FDA, USDA, and local policies.
• Collaborate with store management to create displays that drive sales and promote specials and seasonal items.
• Champion suggestive selling and set a positive example for the department.
