Family Fare in Litchfield, Minnesota is seeking a Meat Department Lead to oversee daily department operations, train associates, maintain staffing levels, and meet KPIs. You will cut and weigh steaks, chops, and other meats, manage inventory, review orders for quality and weight, and assist with scheduling, production planning, and food safety compliance.

Competenze

• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products preferred.
• Detail Oriented.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc.)

Mansioni

• Order and maintain inventory in department.
• Cut and weigh steaks, chops, etc. for servings.
• Review received orders for amount, quality, count or weight, condition, and ensure proper storage.
• Assist Department Manager in leading a team for stocking, production and tasks to ensure quality and KPIs.
• Maintain familiarity with products in department and store.
• Know advertised items, special prices, coupon deals for store programs.
• Communicate and execute Flight Plan to company expectations.
• Follow scheduling tools to manage shifts and forecasted guidelines.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining labor, overtime, and payroll costs for the department.
• Implement Our Winning Recipe and model core values.
• Oversee staffing, training, performance management, and career development.
• Develop and monitor department forecasts.
• Attend daily huddles.
• Maintain clean, well stocked department per guidelines.
• Ensure food safety guidelines are followed and corrective action taken.

• Develop plans to meet company goals and KPIs.
• Follow PPE, safety, cleaning, and guest experience guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
