Qualifications

• Meat-cutting skills (saw, grinder) and knowledge of department production stations.
• Customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and production instructions.

Responsibilities

• May serve as backup to Department Manager and assist with scheduling.
• Trains Partners; directs work; handles complaints and coordinates with Management.
• Orders product and ensures quality control; unloads meat from trucks.
• Operates power meat prep and processing equipment; prepares meat for service counters.
• Weighs, wraps, labels product; ensures proper rotation and storage.
• Maintains coolers and freezers; assists in all technical areas as needed.
• Provides coaching on superior customer service; answers product questions and supports merchandising campaigns.
