Job summary

The role requires at least a High School diploma, 2 years of retail management experience, and preferred meat management expertise, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's in business or food service desirable.
• Minimum 2 years' management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket.
• Meat management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises department associates in partnership with or in the absence of the Meat Manager.
• Assists Meat Manager in day-to-day meat operations, merchandising, and customer service.
• Coordinates sales and merchandising plans to ensure proper stock levels and freshness.
• Manages inventory levels, ordering, and backroom organization to support department needs.
• Ensures product rotation, applies proper dating, and maintains cleanliness and safety standards.
