Kj’s Market is hiring for a Meat Department role in a fast-paced grocer environment. You will follow the weekly sales program, manage meat operations, train staff, and ensure accurate inventory and records. You will help guests and uphold sanitation and safety standards to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• High school education and 1–3 years meat or supermarket experience.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Knowledge of meat operations and ability to supervise staff.
• Strong communication, guest service, and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow weekly sales program to attain maximum sales volume.
• Execute meat operations per company standards and audits.
• Prepare meat records for accounting and merchandising.
• Unload trucks and maintain backroom storage and inventory control.
• Ensure proper handling, sanitation, and safety of the department.
• Schedule department duties and supervise staff development.
• Assist guests and maintain strong customer relations.
