Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is hiring a Meat Team member in Mount Pleasant to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation within the meat department. The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork to maintain quality displays.

You will assist with merchandising, stock rotation, and sample programs while upholding health, safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced store environment.

Formación

• Ability to sell proactively in a fast-paced grocery setting.
• Basic knowledge of products in the department is required.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and learns product information.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks to support stock control.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays; keeps cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrives on time; prepared and groomed; attends trainings and meetings.
• Delivers excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures for health, sanitation, weights and measures, and safety.
• Maintains clean, sanitary working/shopping environment; keeps equipment safe.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; verifies pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
