Job summary

WinCo Foods in Washington is seeking a Meat Department Associate to maintain fresh meat production, ensure customer service, quality and department cleanliness, and support merchandising in a fast-paced retail setting.

Shifts are 6–8 hours between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm; you must stand long periods, lift up to 80 lbs, read production guides and labels, perform safe sanitation, assist customers, and help reduce shrink through excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience cutting meat in a meat production environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, engage and thank customers with friendly service.
• Cut, grind, and wrap fresh meat products according to standards.
• Maintain temperatures, freshness, and proper display of meat items.
• Stock and rotate products, manage inventory in retail cases.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Assist in merchandising and suggestive selling to reduce shrink.
