Job summary

WinCo Foods is hiring for a Meat department associate in Washington. You will wrap, weigh, and price meat, operate wrapping equipment, and deliver consistent customer service while maintaining cleanliness and product quality.

The role requires flexibility to work 9:00 am to 10:00 pm shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a refrigerated environment. Prioritize safe handling and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws).
• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Ability to perform basic math and read product labels.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh, and price poultry and meat.
• Operate wrapping machine.
• Provide world class customer service.
• Maintain department cleanliness and equipment.
• Assist Meat Cutters and Department Manager as needed.
• Learn basic meat cutting skills through training.
