Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to provide prompt, courteous service and maintain attractive meat department presentation. You will assist with inventory, stocking, labeling, and pricing while ensuring sanitation and safety standards across shifts.

The role requires strong customer interactions, basic math skills, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend/evening availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of meat products and cuts.
• Familiarity with retail stocking procedures and inventory management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting meat products.
• Prepare ground meat using a meat grinder.
• Package and label meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
