Job summary

Southside Market & BBQ in Leander, TX is seeking team members to join our kitchen and front-of-house. This role emphasizes authentic service, food preparation, and helping deliver our Texas-friendly hospitality.

Candidates must have a Food Handler Certificate before day one, prior food handling and customer service experience preferred, and English fluency. You will stand, lift up to 40 pounds, and contribute to a safe, busy work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certificate required prior to day 1.
• Previous food handling experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Communicates well with guests to ensure accuracy of order and guest satisfaction.
• Communicates with management when meat items need replenished.
• Helps prepare orders and ensures accuracy of each order.
• Utilizes safe and efficient knife skills to cut and package smoked meats to order.
• Weighs meats to exact specifications.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization. Observes safety and security standards.
