Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work early mornings, nights and weekends.
• Must have previous meat cutting experience.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, trimming, boning, grinding and properly preparing meats such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish.
• Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Wrap, count, separate, weigh, label, price, display and merchandise cuts of meat.
• Follow department procedures for receiving and unloading meat orders.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary and clean working environment per safety regulations.
• Operate necessary equipment according to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist customers with orders and questions per Customer Service guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of product quality, prices, varieties and preparation methods.
• Notify management of safety or equipment issues.
• Assist in training associates when necessary.
