Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Meat Cutter to process meat products, fulfill special customer requests, and keep cases stocked with fresh, properly labeled items. You will rotate stock, ensure quality and food safety, and promote a positive customer experience in a retail environment.

The role requires the ability to handle sharp tools, operate department machinery, and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED with related experience; food handler certification required.
• Ability to safely work with sharp objects and operate department equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process meat by removing fat, tenderizing, grinding, and/or cutting to proper thickness and size.
• Cut, weigh, package, and label product for sale.
• Operate and maintain meat department machinery and equipment.
• Provide friendly, service-oriented customer interactions and fulfill special cuts on request.
