Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Meat Processor to join our team in a retail store setting. You will process meat products, fulfill customer requests for special cuts, and maintain fresh, labeled, and properly stocked cases.

The role requires safety awareness, proper tool handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Experience in meat preparation and ability to follow hygiene standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• High school Diploma or GED and 1+ year of related experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Process meat by removing fat, tenderizing, grinding, and/or cutting to proper thickness.
• Cut, weigh, package, and label products.
• Operate and maintain department equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure sufficient product is available for customers and maintain cleanliness.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with special cuts as requested.
