Job summary

The Fresh Market is hiring a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood in line with our standards. You will assist with inventory and pricing integrity, and contribute to merchandising and other operational tasks to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Pay range is $16.56–$19.43 per hour, with benefits including team member discounts, 401K with company match, and comprehensive health coverage. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market's internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items across the store and assist guests in finding products.
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim a variety of meat and seafood products according to standards.
• Monitor temperatures of cases, spillovers, and storage areas to ensure safety and quality.
• Ensure safety and compliance with department practices for receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries.
