Joe V’s Smart Shop, a division of H-E-B, is seeking a Meat Cutter I to maintain fresh, high-quality meat in a fast-paced department. You will cut, trim, tray, and merch products for display, while upholding food safety, cleanliness, and accuracy in labeling and stocking.

The role emphasizes customer service and adherence to all store SOPs. The position requires operation of standard meat-cutting machinery, proper handling procedures, and flexibility in scheduling to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to apply.
• Retail market/food experience preferred.
• Knowledge of JVSS Meat Cutter training aids and SOPs.
• Certification from Meat Cutting Academy is required.

Responsabilités

• Cut, trim, tray meat for display according to standards.
• Operate grinder, saw, knife sharpener, tenderizer, slicer.
• Weigh, wrap and label product packages for sale.
• Maintain proper storage and rotate meat products.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to needs.
