Job summary

Floco Foods in Kingstree, SC is seeking a Meat Department team member to provide friendly, first-rate service to guests and ensure quality meat products. You will handle cutting, weighing, pricing, and maintaining sanitation standards in the cooler and prep areas.

Candidates should have prior meat cutting experience, be able to lift heavy items, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Meat cutting experience.
• Willing to learn multiple tasks and follow standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly service to all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and fresh meat.
• Satisfy special guest requests (eg. custom cuts, slicing).
• Maintain sanitation in cooler, sales, and prep areas.
• Ensure high quality, freshness, and properly dated product.
• Report temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on PA system.
• Assist in receiving and storage of products.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• 6. Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• 7. Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• 8. Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• 9. Assist in product receiving and storage.
• 10. All other tasks as assigned by management.
