Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Baltimore, MD is hiring for a Meat Cutter in the meat department. You will cut, grind, and wrap fresh meats, assist Members with selections, and ensure product quality and safety standards are met throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Maintains meat case and ensures proper inventory levels.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas in the meat department.
