Qualifications

• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience: Previous meat cutting experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques.
• Attention to detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Customer service: Strong communication with customers.
• Comfort with machinery: Able to operate cutting equipment safely.
• Safety knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cut, grind, trim, and prepare meat products according to standards.
• Stock meat cases and price/label items clearly.
• Assist customers with special requests and provide advice on cuts.
• Operate saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines and knives safely.
• Assist with ordering and inventory to keep department stocked.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company protocols.
