Joe V’s Smart Shop, a division of H-E-B in the Greater Houston area, seeks a Meat Cutter to trim, weigh, label, and display meat products and to ensure freshness and quality in a fast-paced store environment. You will provide friendly customer service, rotate stock, follow safety procedures, and operate slicers and grinders.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 90 lbs and work a flexible schedule with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail meat department.
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and handle heavy meat cases.
• Knowledge of meat cuts, display, labeling and rotation processes.
• Compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, trims, trays, and prepares meat for display and sale.
• Displays and labels products clearly for customers and rotates stock.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitization of cases and equipment, follows SOPs.
