Job summary

Renovo Supermarket Inc. in Lock Haven seeks an experienced Meat Cutter to operate the meat department to our high standards. You will trim and prepare standard cuts, follow merchandising plans, and help drive sales and profitability.

Responsibilities include cutting with knives and power equipment, packaging and displaying meat, receiving inventory, and maintaining proper sanitation and cold chain. Requirements: 18+, HS diploma/GED, experience with meat cutting equipment, ability to stand long

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience using meat cutting equipment, power equipment, and hand tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat using knives and power equipment.
• Package and display meat in an attractive manner.
• Order inventory and maintain appropriate levels of stock.
• Receive and inspect meat as it arrives to the store.
• Ensure the cold chain is unbroken and meat remains high quality.
• Follow high standards of sanitation and quality control.
