Job summary

Candidates should be 18+, with or without meat cutting experience, and able to follow instructions while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Flexible schedules and team collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat cutting experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks, and interact with various levels of individuals daily.
• Attendance at on-site shifts to adhere to time policies.

Responsibilities

• Cut and merchandise fresh meat.
• Assist in ordering, receiving and displaying products.
• Grind meat.
• Slice meat.
• Organize cooler arrangement and stocking of cooler.
• Rotate product.
• Maintain neat appearance of display cases.
• Maintain proper product codes and dates.
• Keep work station and area clean.
• Sanitize and disinfect department twice daily.
• Provide efficient and courteous customer service.
• Assist in enforcing HACCP program.
