Responsibilities include preparing storage areas, verifying deliveries, inspecting quality, coding dates, stocking shelves, and rotating stock to face fronts. Safety and cleanliness are essential in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Meat cutting and trimming according to department standards.
• Excellent customer service and basic cashiering skills.
• Ability to read invoices, signs and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Identify meat cuts, breakdown, weigh and wrap products per standards.
• Greet customers, respond to questions/requests/complaints and explain policies.
• Review the perishable department board and follow intercom guidelines.
• Prepare area for receipt of merchandise, verify invoices and inspect deliveries.
• Stock, rotate, and display products; match case strips to shelves and tags.
• Operate equipment safely and observe sanitation and safety rules.
