Responsibilities

• Identify cuts of meat, breakdown, trim, weigh and wrap products according to company standards.
• Greet customers, respond to questions/requests/complaints, and explain store policies.
• Review daily department communications and follow intercom guidelines.
• Prepare/organize cooler/freezer/backroom for receipt of merchandise; verify merchandise against invoice and check quality.
• Load/transport cases to sales floor or storage areas; rotate stock and ensure proper dating on display.
• Understand safety requirements for equipment and operate tools in the meat department.
