Job summary

Weis Markets in Manheim, PA is seeking a Meat Department Associate to greet customers, take orders, and prepare meat and seafood products for the day. You will follow established procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking, and proper rotation to ensure quality.

You will maintain a safe, clean workspace compliant with OSHA and company rules, and may assist in other departments as needed. A high school diploma/GED and 2 years retail experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established department procedures for receiving and unloading shipments, pricing the product and stocking cases.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment per company and OSHA regulations.
• Greets and takes orders from customers.
• Cuts, trays, and packages all meat and seafood products for the day.
• Maintains safety practices when using cutting tools and wears mesh gloves during use.
• Assists in other departments as needed.
