Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a dependable associate for our meat department in Pennsylvania. You will greet customers, price and stock products, and ensure accurate rotation of goods. The role requires handling meat/seafood products safely and adhering to sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with inventory prep, tagging, and potential cross-department support. A high school diploma or GED with retail experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 2 years' experience in a retail environment or equivalent.
• Experience in meat/seafood or deli operations is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Receive and unload shipments, price products and stock cases with proper rotation.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal weights, measures and labeling laws.
• Greet customers and take orders.
• Cut, tray, and package meat and seafood products for the day.
• Follow safety practices and wear mesh gloves when using cutting tools.
• Assist in back stock, tagging, and pre-inventory preparation.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
