Weis Markets is seeking a dependable meat department associate to greet customers, take orders, and help prepare and package meat and seafood products for the day.

You will follow department procedures for receiving and stocking, maintain a safe, clean work area, ensure accurate labeling, and assist in other departments as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of retail experience; Weis Markets is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and take meat orders.
• Prepare, cut and package meat and seafood products.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules in daily work.

Responsabilités

• Receive/unload shipments, price products, and stock cases with proper rotation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following safety rules.
• Ensure compliance with weights, measures and labeling laws.
• Greet customers and take orders.
• Cut, tray, and package required meat and seafood items.
• Use cutting tools safely; wear mesh gloves where required.
• Assist in back stock/pre-inventory prep; tag matching.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
