Rock Creek IGA is seeking a meat department associate to greet customers, answer questions, and provide premier service. You will cut and prepare various meats, unload deliveries, rotate stock, and maintain sanitation in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a temperature-controlled environment. Prioritize safety and teamwork in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions and solve problems.

Responsabilités

• Provides premier customer service, greeting customers and answering questions.
• Cuts and prepares all varieties of meat; operates tools safely.
• Sells products by providing information to help with decisions.
• Unloads meat deliveries from trucks and verifies items.
• Maintains, fills, and rotates product in meat cases.
• Moves meat from coolers to cutting area and returns to coolers.
• Trains other associates as needed.
• Maintains Rock Creek IGA standards for sanitation, freshness, trimming and cutting.
• Cleans equipment.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
