ShopRite of Lyndhurst in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a Meat Cutter Clerk to deliver a great customer experience in the Meat Department. You will cut meat, maintain a clean, attractive display, and follow company safety and QA standards.

Responsibilities include operating department equipment, stocking and pricing, assisting customers, and complying with all health regulations. Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and 80-90 lbs occasionally is required; shifts may exceed 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and speaks English proficiently.
• Able to perform basic math and measurements.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation.
• Able to lift 35 lbs regularly and 80-90 lbs occasionally.
• Works in refrigerated environments and with varied temperatures.
• Familiar with meat department equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and restock products in meat cases.
