Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Meat Cutter to accurately break, cut, and prepare meat products according to company standards. You will serve customers with special orders and collaborate with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to decide which items to cut.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, bend, stand, and stoop for extended periods. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all food-related roles.

Job description

Under direct supervision, the Meat Cutter breaks, cuts, and prepares meat products, using hand tools and power equipment, in the variety, size, quantity, and trim prescribed by company standards. Meat products are prepared for display or as ordered by customers. Works with customers to take special orders. Works with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut. Must be able to perform very heavy lifting, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.
