Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to assist in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, following the production schedule to meet advertised cuts.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership while following safety, sanitation, and inventory procedures. Experience with Computer Assisted Ordering and a current handjack/hilo license are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Understanding and following safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience with product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using ordering software.
• Current handjack/hilo license and familiarity with inventory procedures.

Responsibilities
