Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member for the meat department in Wisconsin. You will assist in writing fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, stock and condition meat, and keep the cut room clean and sanitary while maintaining strong customer and team relationships.

Weekend availability is required; shifts run 5am–4pm, Sun–Sat. Prior experience with meat processing, safety procedures, and CAO tools will help you succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED Shifts available between 5am - 4pm Sun - Sat
