Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is seeking a Meat Department team member to assist with daily meat cutting, order writing, and inventory control. You will organize deliveries, stock the meat department, and maintain a clean cutting room while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Weekend availability is required with shifts 5am–4pm. You will support customer service and teamwork in a family-oriented Meijer culture that emphasizes growth and development.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to follow strict safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in presenting products and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing fresh meat orders and organizing deliveries.
• Stock and condition meat in the department and maintain the cut room.
• Clean and sanitize meat processing areas and equipment.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED

Shifts available between 5am - 4pm Sun - Sat

What You'll be Doing:

• Assisting in the writing of fresh meat orders.
• Organizing and checking in fresh meat deliveries.
• Stocking and conditioning in the meat department
• Cleaning and sanitizing meat cut room
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers, team members and leadership.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
