Meijer in Indiana is seeking a meat department associate to assist with daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind, following the production schedule to meet advertised cuts.

You will help write fresh meat orders, organize deliveries, and maintain a positive relationship with customers, team members, and leadership. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; prior experience with meat processing and safety procedures is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measures used in meat processing.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using CAO applications in ordering.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

This position assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual also follows the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
