Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a team member for the Meat Department in Massachusetts. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, while assisting Members with questions and product recommendations.

The role emphasizes maintaining safety standards, stocking, and collaboration to ensure fast, friendly service and a positive member experience in a wholesale club setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience in meat and/or deli department preferred.
• Age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
• Assists meat cutters in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards in the meat department.
