Stater Bros. Markets, Inc. is hiring a Meat Clerk in Huntington Beach, CA to deliver G.O.A.T service—greet, observe, assist, thank—while helping customers select meat products and maintain fresh, well-stocked displays.

You will assist with cutting, packaging, labeling, and inventory management, all while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting moderate weights, and working a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and service at all times.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with customers and teammates.
• Basic math and reading skills for pricing, labeling, inventory.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience (G.O.A.T).
• Assist customers with meat purchases and services such as slicing, repackaging, and serving suggestions.
• Wrap, weigh, trim, price, and adjust pricing for meat products per policies and safety standards.
• Maintain proper stock and display in cases and deli, rotating products as required.
• Clean equipment and work area following sanitation procedures and safety rules.
• Handle meat-cutting equipment safely and efficiently and operate processing tools.
• Place orders, manage inventories, and support department operations with teammates.
