Responsibilities include cutting, trimming, labeling, and packaging meat per food safety rules; supporting inventory, cleanliness, and accurate pricing; and working with the team to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler / Health Card required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience.
• Assist customers with meat purchases, slicing, grinding, repackaging, and serving suggestions.
• Wrap, weigh, trim, price, and adjust pricing for meat products per policies and laws.
• Maintain proper stock levels and rotate products in cases and deli.
• Clean equipment and work area according to sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations.
• Grind meat and prepare kabobs or marinated cuts as needed.
• Handle meat-cutting equipment safely and responsibly; assist with inventory.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth department operations and great service.
