Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is looking for a Meat Clerk to support the Meat Department with high levels of customer service and safe food handling. The role includes stocking and merchandising in fresh and frozen cases, pricing updates, and ensuring product quality and rotation.

Responsibilities include rewrapping meat packages, maintaining a clean, safe workplace, and organizing displays and racks. The shift starts at 5:00 am, with other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and merchandising in fresh and frozen cases.
• Update product pricing as necessary.
• Ensure product quality, protection, accuracy and rotation.
• Rewrap meat packages as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment per safety and sanitation rules.
• Keep pork rind rack clean and organized.
• Keep meat displays clean and presentable.
• Store cleaning supplies properly.
• 5:00 am start time.
• Other duties as assigned.
