Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Meat Clerk to assist the Meat Department with exceptional customer service and safe food handling. You will perform stocking and merchandising tasks, update pricing, and ensure quality control and proper rotation in coolers.

Responsibilities include rewrapping meat as needed, maintaining cleanliness, supporting advertising of department products, and starting shifts at 5:00 am. A High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years meat experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 1+ years meat department experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and merchandising in both fresh and frozen cases.
• Update product pricing as necessary.
• Ensure product quality, protections, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
• Rewrap meat packages as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensure great customer experience.
• Keep meat displays clean and organized.
• Store cleaning supplies properly.
• Assist in advertising department products.
• 5:00 am start time.
• Other duties as assigned.
