Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Meat Clerk to support the Meat Department with high standards of customer service and food safety. You will stock, price, wrap, and rotate products while maintaining clean and organized meat displays and work environment.

You will start at 5:00 am and contribute to a positive shopper experience, with opportunities to grow within the team and community impact.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred in retail or food service.
• Knowledge of safe food handling procedures and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and merchandising in fresh and frozen meat cases.
• Update pricing as needed and ensure accurate displays.
• Maintain product quality, rotation, and proper dating in coolers.
• Rewrap meat packages when necessary and ensure proper packaging.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and comply with safety rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Keep pork rind rack clean and organized; maintain meat displays.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored properly; keep area tidy.
• Assist with advertising department products as needed.
• 5:00 am start time; perform other duties as assigned.
