Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Meat Clerk for Cypress, TX. You will provide friendly customer service, assist with shelving and display cases, and help with meat wrap displays. The role requires flexibility for lifting up to 60 pounds and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities include assisting with special orders and coordinating with the Meat Cutter to determine cuts, while maintaining clean and well-stocked displays and shelves. Bilingual English/Spanish ability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous and helpful customer service.
• Assist customers, clean shelves, and display cases.
• Clean, fill, and rotate the Meat Wrap displays.
• Work with customers to take special orders and with Meat Cutter to determine cuts.
• Lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stand, stoop for prolonged periods.

Requirements

• Read and write Spanish/English.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.
