Job summary

Chedraui USA in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a Meat Clerk (Store 006 Rosenberg) to assist customers with meat selection, process special orders, and maintain attractive displays. You will work with the Meat Cutter to determine items to cut and ensure quality display and rotation.

Qualifications include bilingual Spanish/English, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, read/write basic English/Spanish, and a Retail Management Certificate.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and coworkers.
• Read simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos; write basic notes.
• Practical lifting and movement as part of daily duties up to 60 lbs.

• Assist customers with meat selection, special orders, and inquiries.
• Keep shelves, display cases, and the Meat Wrap displays clean, filled, and properly rotated.
• Work with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 lbs., bending, standing, stooping, and kneeling for prolonged periods.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in a fast‑paced grocery store setting.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently up to 45 lbs., and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

Required Certifications
