Job Description

Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully. Greet customers and provide them with good quality food.
2. Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
3. Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
4. Maintain a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
5. Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods according to company standards, recipes, and policies.
6. Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality, freshness, and safety.
7. Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
8. Maintain cleanliness and safety of floors and equipment.
9. Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils following policies and health regulations.
10. Ensure proper signage, product rotation, and space allocation for merchandise.
11. Operate equipment safely and maintain facilities properly.
12. Follow company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
13. Operate cash register as applicable.
14. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
15. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
16. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
17. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
18. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
