Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully. Greet customers and provide them with quality food.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
• Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods per company standards, recipes, and policies.
• Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality, freshness, and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of floors and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils following policies.
• Manage signage, product rotation, and merchandise space effectively.
• Operate cash register as required.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Handle conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
