Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Measurement Technician II in Orrville, Ohio. The role supports safe operation and maintenance of control stations, meter and regulating facilities, with preventive maintenance and field inspections to ensure reliability.

You will calibrate transmitters, monitor regulators, maintain inventory, and collaborate with Gas Control, SCADA, and Engineering teams. A high school diploma and 5 years of related experience are required, with a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Five (5) years' experience in instrumentation, electronics or gas equipment maintenance and operation.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; comfortable with industrial equipment.

Responsabilités

• Performs general maintenance and troubleshooting of pressure control stations, receipt points, and meters.
• Investigates and monitors odorants and compliance of gas systems.
• Monitors fluids, filters, tanks and strainers via visual inspection.
• Performs calibrations of transmitters and pressure monitoring devices to regulatory standards.
• Inspects and provides corrective maintenance on sites, regulators and meters.
• Documents meter readings and reports discrepancies.
• Completes meter testing using meter provers and ensures proper documentation.
• Communicates with Gas Control, SCADA, Construction and Engineering teams to address concerns.
• Participates in design reviews and assists in selection of materials and equipment.
• Maintains inventory of critical materials.
• Evaluates Operator Qualifications of other technicians.
• Mentors new technicians and provides technical guidance.
