Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Measurement Technician II to operate and maintain control stations, receipt points, meters and related gas equipment within the assigned area.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibrations, inspections, meter testing, inventory management, and collaboration with Gas Control, SCADA and Engineering to ensure regulatory compliance and reliable gas service.

Qualifications

• Five years of instrumentation, electronics, or gas equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, manuals, codes and parts diagrams.
• Ability to communicate with various levels of employees and customers.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain control stations, receipt points, meters and related gas equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations of instruments and RFU devices.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pressure control stations and RTUs.
• Document meter readings and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Gas Control, SCADA, Construction and Engineering teams.
