Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Associate in the US to provide data analysis support for large-scale assessment programs. You will work under psychometric leads, perform data mining, summarization, and statistics, and help ensure quality and usability of analytic outcomes.

Strong quantitative skills, collaboration, and the ability to work remotely with diverse teams are essential. Travel may be up to 5% and eligibility for Pearson's incentive program applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or evidence of success in quantitative courses (statistics) or software development courses.
• Experience with basic item/test analysis and evaluation of outcomes.
• Experience with data analysis tools like SAS or Python.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from psychometric leads and follow best practices.
• Conduct analyses using exploratory techniques and statistics.
• Develop and debug analysis tools per specifications.
• Handle moderately complex data structures and files.
• Evaluate data suitability for analyses and outcomes.
• Prepare and manage data for internal teams.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and technology staff.
• Explore AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and innovation.
• Meet schedules while working independently; travel up to 5%.
