Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Associate, Measurement to support data analysis for large-scale assessment programs. You will work under psychometric leads to perform analyses, prepare data for internal teams, and contribute to contract deliverables with a focus on data quality and methodological soundness.

The role emphasizes statistics, programming, and use of SAS/Python, with opportunities to learn AI-enabled tools. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with evidence of success in quantitative courses (e.g., statistics) or software programming/development courses.
• Direct experience in basic item and test analysis or coursework preparing for large-scale data analysis.
• Experience with statistical analysis platforms/packages such as SAS or Python; knowledge of C#, R, or Java acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, conducts analyses using exploratory techniques such as data mining, data summarization, and statistics.
• Executes and debugs existing analysis tools according to specifications.
• Prepare, format, and manage data for use by internal groups.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and technology staff to fulfill contract deliverables.
• Demonstrates openness to learning and applying AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency.
